By: John E. Murray, III
Experiencing living from the inside out
May leave one in constant doubt,
Of life and what it may bring.
But, if we continue to question
The gifts we are given,
We are left with nothing on which to cling.
We may never be alone together,
But, for now, alone maybe better,
Especially, for seeing how amazing angels can truly be.
When we look into the eyes of such a cherub
We are granted but a glimpse of heaven,
And, when we spend time with our best friend,
We are engulfed by the remnants of eternity.
Though I know,
I will be missing you while being without,
Your soul’s shadow will remain within
And settle as a precious part
Of my ever-hopeful heart.
