By: John E. Murray, III
If it is not love you are in,
Please do not tarnish your soul with the sin
Of signing your letters as such.
For though I care for you very much,
I fear the truth in the simplicity,
And fret this may not be within me.
Be creative with your ending,
And conscious of the message you are sending.
Consider sincerely, happily, or caringly instead,
So as to stop my aching heart and soothe my pounding head.
